Next step, cleaning up the frame: removing uneeded, unwanted brackets, tidying up gussets, ridges etc for a smoothr, cleaner look.

Initial mock-up:

This is the initial conception / mock up of the build. With the frame stripped bare, Anthony and I went through our spare parts (of which there are many ha ha) to see what we had sitting around that might suit the build. I have a bunch of tanks sitting around ready to be painted for display, and this one fit purrrrfect! Anthony dug out an oil tank that he had partially completed for a previous build using a piece of five inch truck exhaust. Both parts looked nice on the frame, and set the tone for the rest of the build.
