So I'm finally going to start adding some pics and links from the Expo. The bike shown below (an RHC custom based around a 1969 sporty engine) was my personal favourite, overall show winner and is the cover bike on the current issue of Heavy Duty. I won't even start to describe it... just buy the mag.

Mal from Blue Collar Customs dropped by the other day and while we were talking retro builds he showed me this cool little number....

Also, I've finally sorted out some pics from the Australain Motorcycle Expo, and will start to post them with some cool links this week.

Yesterday was spent detailing Steve's bike, and generally helping out with the photo shoot. Shown below are a few snapshots of the day taken by Steve's wife Sam and myself.

For the actual shots taken by Lou Martin... you will have to wait for them to appear in Rapid magazine. Watching Lou standing casually shooting perfectly framed photos of Steve riding at high speeds was a real buzz.

Small world....

I while ago I did a blog post asking if anyone had pics or info on this Jesse James built custom... and today I got a response. An auctioneer in the US now has the bike for sale. While researching the bike, he came across my blog and sent me these pics.

It's really cool to see some more of the bike and to receive high-resolution pics of Mike Lavalee's work was particularily interesting. Nice too to think that there are still people in the world that will take the time out of their day to send some photo's to someone they have never met. Thanks Kris :)
